RAM Celebrates Superman with a Custom 2500

The latest superhero movie to hit the big screen is being released this month and here at Mike Brown Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram we're getting excited for the blockbuster. The movie is Man of Steel, a Superman biopic that features Henry Cavill, Kevin Costner, and Amy Adams. But there's a star off-screen we're even more thrilled about.

Partnering with Warner Brothers, RAM has designed a one-of-a-kind 2500 embodying the qualities of the iconic Man of Steel. We've been big fans of the 2500 for quite some time and want to share the details of this custom truck with you. The 2013 2500 Power Wagon made its premier at the world-release of the movie on June 10, 2013 and will be auctioned off for charity at a later date.

The distinctive model is dark gray, highlighting a sleek and glossy black roof with red grille details and substantial 17-inch sleek satin black wheels. Other unique exterior details include a unique bespoke vehicle wrap and Superman logos giving it a strong stance. On the inside, the RAM possesses custom mesh seat inserts with Superman's red signature details, a "Man of Steel" stamp on the glove box, and pewter leather seats.

Reid Bigland, Ram Truck Brand president and CEO, explains the correlation between the iconic Superman character and the truck, stating, "RAM celebrates those who dare to be great and never back down from a challenge. This is the essence of Superman and also embodies our RAM truck buyers, who believe in hard work, integrity and standing up for what is right."1 You can view the inspirational advertisement for yourself here.
