A Look at the 2014 Jeep Cherokee on the Road

If you've been following along with the Mike Brown Chrysler Dodge Jeep blog this year, you would know we are just a little excited about the impending arrival of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee. It is creating quite a buzz with its drastic style departure from other new Jeep models.

To find out firsthand what it's actually like to drive the model, you'll have to wait until it arrives at our Granbury, TX dealership later this year. For now, let's see what the experts at FourWheeler have to say. These lucky folks recently had the opportunity to take the Trailhawk trim of the vehicle for a spin.

Ali Mansour, Technical Editor at FourWheeler, stated in the overall review that, "The Cherokee is flat-out enjoyable to drive on-road, and surprisingly capable off-road. Jeep is aware of the Cherokee namesake pedestal and has done a great job with the Trail Hawk edition to offer a wheeler-centric version of an otherwise citified platform."1 Basically, this downtown-looking model is fully capable and willing to go off the traditional trail with its 2.4-liter Tigershark inline four engine that produces 184-hp or 3.2-liter Pentastar V-6 engine that creates 271-hp.

Are you looking forward to the new Cherokee's arrival? Check back often with Mike Brown Chrysler Dodge Jeep and we'll be sure to let you know as soon as it arrives in our showroom. For now, stop by our Fort Worth area dealership to test drive one of the other awesome new Jeep models we have, like the Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, and Patriot.
