Dodge CEO's Beloved Challenger to be Auctioned Off for Charity

It's never easy to part with a vehicle you love, but that's what Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Chrysler, is doing. But, it's all for a good cause as his Dodge Challenger SRT8 will be up for auction this April.

This particular Challenger has a unique pitch black paint job, and "Dark Charcoal" racing stripes, plus a lowered suspensionusing Mopar parts. There's also smoked taillights, HEMI badging throughout, and 20-inch wheels with matte black finishing. Inside, you can find black leather seats with SRT logos, and even an instrument that measures G-force.

This unique Challenger is powered by a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 that churns out 470 horsepower, and goes from zero-to-sixty in five seconds, while its quarter-mile time is under 13. Even with all these enhancements inside and out of the vehicle, it actually has very respectable fuel economy, coming in at 23 miles per gallon highway.

Figuring this particular model is going to fetch a hefty sum at auction, we'd like to let you know, the same thrills can be had in the muscle cars available at Mike Brown Chrysler Dodge Jeep.

The Challenger here is very similar, and sports a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that achieves 305 horsepower, or you could get the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 option and find 375 horsepower. No matter what, you're going to be turning some heads as you cruise the streets in a vehicle that starts at $29,695 MSRP.
